CULA Bridge and ATLAS

Postby psillymathhead » Tue Jul 26, 2011 9:42 am

Hey, I was wondering if anyone has had any success or explored using the CULA bridge functionality by integrating it within ATLAS LAPACK. Many useful projects over the years have been hacked to run with ATLAS, so it seems natural to hope for CULA acceleration of the ATLAS LAPACK version of the full netlib LAPACK.

I see CULA prescribes simple methods for replacing MKL and CLAPACK, but has anyone linked it to ATLAS or netlib LAPACK?..

Thanks!

The link interface should work with Netlib LAPACK, as well as the Clapack+ATLAS combo. We don't have support for direct ATLAS calls.

Yes you are correct, it does work. A bug on my part...

I had the LAPACK libraries linked in the wrong order in one part of my Makefile.... Whoops!...

Thanks!
