R14 alpha pcula_Sgemm - segfault

Postby modelsciences » Tue Jun 12, 2012 2:03 am

I just tested my code (that runs) ok on OS X on a Linux system this morning and I am getting a segmentation fault in pculaSgemm...

Now there's more than operating system difference here - my OS X development (laptop) has only a single CUDA capable device - whereas the Linux workstation has 4 CUDA devices.
Strangely it's only the last test that fails. Of course the one I really care about!

The CUDA version is 4.2 on both platforms: I've attached stacktrace and deviceInfo for the linux system. If this doesn't make any sense to you or its a bug you've already fixed then I can do some more investigation.

Thanks for the bug report. The R15 version of PCULA was nearly a complete rewrite from R14 so I'll be curious if the problem still persists.

Any notion of when R15 will be available?
