R14 was compiled for CUDA 4.1, but I've heard of some limited success in running it with 4.2 on Linux (but not Windows).

I'm using R14 on OS X 10.6 with CUDA 4.2 - it's fresh yet but no problems so far - all my test suites run well so it looks good.
