Announcing PGI Fortran and Mac 64-bit Support
I am pleased to announce a new minor version of CULA has been released. In addition to a couple of bug fixes for issues reported here on the forums, we have added support for the PGI Fortran compiler (link with -lcula_pgfortran). This will enable programmers who use the excellent PGI compiler for their CUDA work as well as those who use it purely for CPU-based codes that use linear algebra.
This release also contains 64-bit libraries for the Mac OS X platform, a much requested addition; please note that there are separate 32-bit and 64-bit libraries and a future release will combine them into a universal 32/64 bit lib.
Please stay tuned to the CULA Developers Blog for more information as we approach GTC2010. We will soon be starting to talk more about our next release, due out around GTC - this next release will be a more traditional more-speedups-and-new-functions version.
