Hi Brad,
It appears during the upload process we lost the executable bit on the Linux installer. If you do a "chmod +x cula_1.0-linux64.run" it will then pass the test and install correctly. Sorry about the trouble there.

For anyone else having this problem, please follow the above process. We will update this thread when that issue is resolved on our end, probably Monday.

Thanks
John Humphrey

Hi:

Same problem here. I also changed the execution bit with chmod u+x but the problem remains:

Hi

In our cluster, installed Fedora 10 Linux OS(64 bits) - x86_64 architecture and latest Nvidia CUDA driver, Nvidia CUDA toolkit and Nvida CUDA SDK.

Finally I tried to install CULA 1.0 - Basic for linux 64 after that it fails MD5 checksum problem. The problem was given below:-

Verifying archive integrity...Error in MD5 checksums: 7cf5119158670dea29178c77317fd0d1 is different from 70425a59a3a9ca356719d11025e01dcc

I found the another latest version i.e., CULA 1.1 BETA - Basic for linux 64. I tried to install it after that it fails above same problem.

Verifying archive integrity...Error in MD5 checksums: a2bca1f84b5b59a2169a9e9ee6686bf7 is different from 47988588468cdff72fbb468ac2dd600d :(

So what can I do now?

Help me,
Ashok.

Hi Ashok,

We've found that users who have encountered this error have had a download problem. For these users, the connection appeared to be reset while downloading, and instead of overwriting the old file, the new transmission contents are appended to it, causing a checksum error.

What tool (browser, wget, etc.) are you using to download CULA? Could you try again using a different tool?

Dan
