It's been a while since we last posted here, but I want to assure you that we've been hard at work on CULA. After two and a half months of intensive development, we're proud to announce the release of CULA 1.2.
CULA 1.2 improves on CULA from every angle. Today's release includes over 30 new routines! The most notable of these is in the family of symmetric eigenproblem solvers, for which this release includes 10 new functions including symmetric eigenvalue solve and tridiagonal factorization. With performance that is up to 5 times faster than software-only packages, you'll appreciate all the downtime that CULA eliminates, giving you back valuable time that you can use to improve your designs.
Beyond the new routines, we've spent a lot of time polishing old ones. Many of our routines have seen improvements in their computational performance and memory utilization. For example, with some concentrated optimization, getrf (LU factorization) and related routines have seen performance gains of up to 50%!
